- ARTstor is a digital image library of approximately 700,000 images in the areas of art,
architecture, the humanities, and
social sciences with a set of tools to view, present, and manage images for research and pedagogical
purposes. A non-profit
organization funded by the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation, ARTstor digitizes and provides
high-quality images from numerous
museums, academic institutions, and private foundations.

If you are accessing ARTstor remotely, you will be prompted to enter your ARTstor account
information. If you do not yet have an ARTstor account, you will first need to access ARTstor from
within the Rutgers on-campus network in order to create an account.
Flash Player (version 6.0 +) must be configured to allow pop-up windows from www.artstor.org
Other requirements:
Java version 1.3+
Monitor resolution is set at 1024 x 768 pixels or better
Screen colors are set to True Color (32 bit) or better
From the opening screen, click on HELP, on the top right-hand side of
the screen, to get additional information about using the database.
