Catalog of U.S. Government Publications (Monthly Catalog)
- Alternate title
- Monthly Catalog of U.S. Government Publications; US Government Publications (Monthly Catalog)
- Description
- The Catalog of U.S. Government Publications (CGP) is the online counterpart
of the Monthly Catalog of United States Government Publications and contains records
for electronic and print publications from the legislative, executive, and judicial branches
of the U.S. government, with links to those that are available online. These publications
make up the National Bibliography of U.S. Government Publications which currently
covers materials that were cataloged by the U.S. Government Printing Office beginning in July
1976, and includes items distributed to Federal depository libraries.
Most federal publications are available in the Alexander Library in New Brunswick or in the
Library of Science and Medicine in Piscataway. Many are also available at the Robeson Library
in Camden, the Camden Law Library, the Dana Library in Newark, and the Newark Law Library.
Most of the items published before Fall 2002 are not included in IRIS. Consult the Rutgers Libraries
reference desks for information on the availability of older materials.
