HeinOnline is a legal research collection that features full-text searching of scholarly legal and criminal justice periodicals and related materials. Pages are reproduced exactly as they appear in their print counterpart, including all graphics, footnotes and page numbers. Journals feature an electronic table of contents for easy browsing.

Dates covered
Varies according to publication, but most journals date back to their first volume. Other materials include historical content from the 18th century forward, with English Reports, Full Reprint providing access to material as far back as 1220.
Updating frequency
Irregular. Information on new content is accessible via the HeinOnline Blog or the What's New section under Frequently Asked Questions.
