Description

Food Science and Technology Abstracts (FSTA) is the premier resource for all aspects of food science including biotechnology, food safety, functional and novel foods, food additives, nutrition, and packaging. The database is international in scope and covers over 1800 resources on food science such as journals, books, and conference proceedings.
FSTA provides for quick searching of keywords from the titles and abstracts or advanced searching which is for searches of FSTA subject headings and the ability to combine search statements. A three year subscription to FSTA Direct is supported through a USDA/CREES Higher Education Challenge Grant.

Help

As FSTA is produced in Great Britain, you may need to use British spellings in your searching and British terms such as biscuits when searching for cookies.

Extensive help is included online, much of it page specific. Select help from the left hand column of options or click on the question mark in the upper right corner of the screen.

For help using these indexes see: How do I find an article on my topic?
