To find a list of books, textbooks, and electronic articles placed on course reserve by your instructor, enter your instructor's last name and search. You can also use the pull-down menu to search by course title or number.

Libraries welcome new NJ regional studies librarian/head of public services in Special Collections

The Rutgers University Libraries are pleased to welcome Christie Lutz, the new New Jersey regional studies librarian and head of public services in Special Collections and University Archives.

Christie will oversee the development of the Sinclair New Jersey Collection, a comprehensive library of print and electronic publications on the state of New Jersey and the region, and create reference tools and website content to enhance access to the collection. She will direct public service activities in Special Collections and University Archives' Reading Room, on the lower level of Alexander Library, and oversee electronic reference services.

Christie will develop library instruction sessions for Rutgers, other college, K-12, and community groups. She will also administer Special Collections and University Archives reproduction, copyright, and use fee policies and procedures.

Christie previously worked as assistant university archivist for public services at the Seeley G. Mudd Manuscript Library of Princeton University. Prior to that she served as university archives project archivist of the Seeley G. Mudd Manuscript Library. Earlier she worked as a national historical publications and records commission fellow in archival administration at the George Meany Memorial Archives of the AFL-CIO in Silver Spring, MD.  

Christie earned a BA in English from the University of Georgia, an MLS from the School of Communication and Information at Rutgers University in New Brunswick, NJ, and an MA in American Studies from the University of Maryland.
