The Libraries will participate in Rutgers University-New Brunswick’s Parent and Family Weekend, taking place September 23–25.

Many fun events are planned to welcome our Rutgers families! For a complete schedule of events, please visit parents.rutgers.edu/parent-and-family-weekend/.

In between ice cream socials, dinners at the Livingston Faculty Dining Club, the football game (Go Knights!), and rock wall climbing at the College Avenue Gym, we hope visitors to our campus will join archivist Erika Gorder for an exclusive guided tour of the Libraries’ exhibit “Rutgers through the Centuries: 250 Years of Treasures from the Archives.” The tour will run from 1 - 2 p.m. on Saturday, September 24.

Visitors will gain a new appreciation of the unique history of Rutgers University as they tour important historical documents, beautiful photographs of the campus and students from years’ past, and compelling—and often whimsical—artifacts. This is a special opportunity to get an expert, behind-the-scenes take on the history of Rutgers University.

Please RSVP as this tour has limited space. Email events@libraries.rutgers.edu if you are interested in attending or have additional questions.

We look forward to seeing everyone at Parent and Family Weekend. Share your photos with the hashtag #RUPFW.
