User tools and features
Dates covered
Contains issue and volume tables of contents, abstracts, and PDF full text for all included papers. All journal papers and proceedings include DOI links.
Updating frequency
SPIE Journals and Proceedings use an "e-First" publishing timetable. New papers are added online as they complete the necessary approvals and production, and therefore issues and volumes first appear as partially complete contents that build as papers are added. Updates occur daily. Proceedings are typically published online 2-4 weeks after the date of the conference. Print publications follow completion of the online volume. For e-First publications, the electronic version is the publication of record, and citation information indicates the online publication date.
Sources
The content in the SPIE Digital Library includes all SPIE journals and conference proceedings. SPIE has published over 8,000 conference proceedings since 1963; however some Proceedings volumes are not available in the SPIE Digital Library due to conference cancellation or lack of electronic publishing rights.
The SPIE Digital Library also includes more than 165 eBooks in three series, with 15–20 new titles added annually: SPIE Press Monographs Tutorial Texts Field Guides Only institutional subscriptions to eBooks are available.
