Gifts of Books and Materials
The Rutgers University Libraries welcome gifts of books and other materials that strengthen our collections and support
the instructional and research programs of the university. More information on our Gift Acceptance Policy may be found
here or by contacting Tom Izbicki, Interim Associate University Librarian for Collection Development, at
tizbicki@rci.rutgers.edu or 848-932-6109.
Planned Giving
In 1985, the Colonel Henry Rutgers Society was formed to recognize those thoughtful graduates and friends who include
Rutgers in their estate plans. Like Colonel Henry, their commitment demonstrates a faith in the future by a planned gift
that will last beyond a lifetime. You can become a member of the Colonel Henry Rutgers Society by doing one or more of
the following:
- Make a bequest in your will to Rutgers
- Name Rutgers as a beneficiary of a life insurance policy
- Make a gift to Rutgers that pays you income for life
- Establish a charitable trust to benefit Rutgers
- Make a gift of a residence to Rutgers while retaining the right to live there
If you would like to leave a legacy gift that would benefit the Rutgers University Libraries, the Office of Gift Planning
would be happy discuss your goals and concerns on a private and confidential basis. They may be reached at
732-932-8808.
