How Do I...
...get a PIN?

If you are a registered borrower you will need your library PIN (a four-digit personal identification number issued by the Libraries) to use your "MY ACCOUNT" to renew books, change your PIN, or check your library record and messages.

You can get your PIN immediately by visiting or phoning the Circulation Desk of any Rutgers library.

Or, you can submit a request to a team of Rutgers Libraries staff by filling out the "Registering with the Rutgers Libraries" form. You will normally receive a new PIN within 48 hours, excluding weekends and holidays.
