Description
|
|
Communication & Mass Media Complete combines two earlier databases in the fields of
communication and mass media studies -- CommSearch (formerly produced by the National
Communication Association), and Mass Media Articles Index (formerly produced by
Pennsylvania State University). The new database offers full-text coverage for more than 280
titles plus citation coverage for many more. Many major journals have indexing, abstracts,
PDFs, and searchable citations from their first issues to the present (dating as far back as
the early 1900s).
CMMC uses a controlled vocabulary and includes linked references for all "core" peer-
reviewed journals. Search limits include the ability to restrict search results to full-text,
scholarly (peer-reviewed) journals, or articles that include references.
