The Education Resources Information Center (ERIC) is a national
education database sponsored by the U.S. Department of Education.
Presently the largest education database in the world, ERIC contains over
1.2 million citations for materials in the field of education. This site includes indexing
for more than 650 journals, about 500 of which are comprehensively indexed.
It also indexes over 100,000 documents (ED numbers), many of which are full text online.

Alexander Library also owns a complete collection of the educational documents (ED numbers) available on microfiche. These may be retrieved from Alexander's Current Periodicals/Microforms Room using the ED number. Libraries within RUL may also contain many of the journals cited; search IRIS by journal title to ascertain holdings.
