VALE - Virtual Academic Library Environment
About the Libraries: Libraries and Centers: John Cotton Dana Library:
R-N Grads Rate Dana Library Highly

In the most recent survey of graduating seniors from Newark College of Arts and Sciences and University College, the Dana Library received the most positive ratings of any campus service or facility (the next two were email and computer labs). Dana was rated positively by 70.9% of graduating seniors (1467 out of 2070 respondents), just behind the Golden Dome.

Comments reflected that seniors considered "the accessibility of the library and library staff" one of the most valuable features in their college experience and that Dana is a "great library for research."

Among the most requested improvements on campus were "more group study rooms." Dana Library was able to add two such rooms on the 2nd Floor this past year.
