The Margery Somers Foster Undergraduate Multimedia Award The Margery Somers Foster Center, Rutgers University Libraries is delighted to offer the Margery Somers Foster Undergraduate Multimedia Award. The award acknowledges the creative use of university library collections in the production of a multimedia-based research project focused on women's or gender issues. All Rutgers University undergraduates of any discipline are eligible to apply. In all cases, additional consideration will be given to students who utilize the Fordham Lab at Douglass Library in the production of their projects. A maximum of two $250 awards will be distributed per annum. Submissions must include the attached form to be completed by applicants and their faculty advisors, along with the copy of the project to be considered on digital media, and a short summary of the project and description of how library resources were utilized in its construction. The criteria for evaluation includes, but not limited to, originality, overall design, critical examination of the topic, and image and sound quality. Awards are distributed annually during the month of April. Due to time considerations, completed application packets must be received by 5:00 PM on March 19, 2012.
