Non-circulating Books and Scores: Sound Recordings and Videos:Sound recordings and videos circulate for a period of 14 days to faculty and graduate students. These items may not be renewed through SELF SERVICES in the Library Catalog - they must be brought back to the library after 14 days. Periodicals, Reference Materials, and Microforms do not circulate. Return PolicyRegularly circulating Performing Arts Library books and scores may be returned to any of the Rutgers University branch libraries. Non-circulating items and items loaned on special permission MUST be returned directly to the Performing Arts Library circulation desk. This includes performing editions with parts and all A/V materials. Failure to do so will result in suspension of borrowing privileges. Recall PolicyStudents, faculty and staff may obtain a book charged out to another borrower by following the instructions for REQUEST THIS ITEM in the Library Catalog. By completing the REQUEST FORM for an item that is checked out, you automatically set a recall in motion. Regardless of the assigned due date, a book may be recalled by another patron if no other copies are available within the Rutgers Library System. The original borrower is notified and has 14 days to return the book without incurring a penalty. Failure to respond to a recall notice results in a fine of up to $50 and the suspension of University Libraries borrowing privileges. There are no fines for overdue books other than those associated with recalled books. Please be considerate of other library patrons, and avoid paying fines, by returning recalled books when requested. | |||
