About the Libraries:
Libraries and Centers:
RU-Online: The Rutgers Digital Library RU-Online is the 26th and newest library of Rutgers University. It is the designator for the growing digital library of networked resources developed and managed by the Libraries and available simultaneously to all Rutgers users. RU-Online is composed of full text and full image resources as well as other purchased electronic databases and indexes. RU-Online titles may be searched in IRIS, where online links in the cataloging record bring the resources directly to your desktop. You may limit your IRIS search to RU-Online titles by selecting RU-Online from the list of libraries in the drop down list on the IRIS search screen. Many networked titles are also available though the Indexes and Databases and Electronic Journal Lists sections of the Libraries' Web pages. The majority of RU-Online titles are electronic journals. Other types of resources include indexes to scholarly and scientific literature, such as Medline, INSPEC, PsycInfo, MLA International Bibliography, Humanities Full Text, Chicano Database, and EconLit; reference works, such as Grove Art Online; and composite sites such as CIAO: Columbia International Affairs Online, a comprehensive source for theory and research in international affairs, including working papers, current events, alerts, books, and journals. Other important digital resources that are not incorporated into RU-Online are freely available to anyone and may be identified through the various Subject Research Guides, the Electronic Reference Sources, Government Information pages, and the Alumni Library. | |||
