About the Libraries:
Libraries and Centers:
RU-Online: The Rutgers Digital Library RU-Online designates the digital library of resources that are available simultaneously to all Rutgers users. The collection is composed of full text and full image books, periodicals, government publications, music, video and other resources including purchased electronic databases and indexes. The majority of RU-Online titles are electronic journals. RU-Online also include indexes to scholarly and scientific literature, such as Medline, INSPEC, PsycInfo, MLA International Bibliography, Chicano Database, and EconLit. Access is provided to reference works, such as Oxford Art Online, as well as to composite sites such as CIAO: Columbia International Affairs Online, a comprehensive source for theory and research in international affairs. Music resources include Naxos Music Library and Classical Scores Library. Most recently, video sources such as Counseling and Therapy in Video and Filmakers Library Online have been added. RU-Online titles are accessible through the Library Catalog, where Electronic access links in the cataloging records bring the resources directly to your desktop. You may limit your Library Catalog search to RU-Online titles by selecting RU-ONLINE from the list of libraries in the drop down menu on the Catalog search screen. Many titles are also available though the Indexes and Databases and Electronic Journal Lists sections of the Libraries' Web pages. Other important digital resources that may not be incorporated into RU-Online are freely available to anyone and may be identified through the various Research Guides, the Electronic Reference Sources pages, the Government Information pages, and the Alumni Library. | |||
