Modern School Collection: Images: Buildings [4]

When the Stelton Modern School first opened, the only buildings were an old farmhouse, a barn, and an uncompleted, open-air dormitory. Living conditions were poor and there was not even an indoor toilet or furnace. Below is the dormitory and living house as they appeared in 1915.
