Modern School Collection: Images: Classes [6]

Anna Schwartz first became acquainted with the Modern School movement in New York after enrolling her children in the day school. Mrs. Schwartz attended the night lectures, and when the school moved to New Jersey she volunteered as staff member. Above, she is pictured teaching the wood shop (1950s).
