New! International Financial Statistics Online

If global commerce has acquired your scholarly interest, the Libraries can now help you trade your questions for solid information.

The Libraries new online resource, International Financial Statistics Online, is a database of economic statistics produced by the International Monetary Fund. Country level data includes bank balances, financial flows, indebtedness, exchange rates, trade volumes, employment, interest rates, inflation rates, and more. World data is available for similar topics, as well as commodity prices for major internationally traded goods.

The Data is derived from national statistical organizations and the International Monetary Fund. The database's flexible interface allows choice of countries, data items, and years of coverage. Data can be output as Excel, html, delimited text files, or as a PDF version of the table from the monthly publication.

Users can access International Financial Statistics Online from the front page of the Libraries website, either through IRIS or by locating it in the title list of Indexes and Databases or in any of the following subject listings:

Social Sciences and Law / Economics,
Business.
