New! Linguistics and Language Behavior Abstracts

If you are studying speech or communication, or working to master a language, the Libraries' new resource, Linguistics and Language Behavior Abstracts (LLBA), can speak volumes to you.

The LLBA database covers such topics as linguistic theory, syntax, phonology, semantics, psycholinguistics, sociolinguistics, and discourse analysis. LLBA scans more than 1500 publications for relevant articles and includes items in English and thirty other languages. Also includes recently published books and web sites. Substantial abstracts are given for books and articles.

Users can access Linguistics and Language Behavior Abstracts from the front page of the Libraries website, either through IRIS or by locating it in the title list of Indexes and Databases or in any of the following subject listings:
Arts and Humanities / Language and Linguistics
Social Sciences and Law / Communication
Social Sciences and Law / Psychology
