Libraries' Two New Databases Mean Business: Investext Plus and D&B Key Business Ratios
The Libraries are pleased to offer two new online databases that get right down to business.
Investext Plus is a financial research database with more than 3.5 million company and industry reports from investment analysts in North America, Europe, Asia/Pacific, Latin America, Africa and the Middle East. The database allows keyword and Boolean searching of company name, industry sector, geographic location, and investment firm. The advanced search mode permits searching by SIC code and ticker symbol as well. All company and industry reports are provided in full page PDF image.
The D&B Key Business Ratios cover all critical areas of business performance -- solvency, efficiency, and profitability -- of public and private companies, broken down by Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) code. This resource will allow users to determine prevailing median values of more than a dozen corporate performance measures in hundreds of industry sectors, depending on the asset size of the organization.
Users may access either database from the frontpage of the Libraries website, either through IRIS or by following the path Find Articles / Indexes and Databases / Business / (name of desired database).
