Business Data Across The Globe: New Database, EIU.com

The Libraries new electronic resource, EIU.com, gets local as it assesses business conditions, region by region and country by country.

The Rutgers subscription to EIU.com provides access to two series of annual country reports: Country Commerce and Country Finance, as well as nine regional newsletters: Business Africa, Business Africa, Business Asia, Business China, Business Eastern Europe, Business Europe, Business India Intelligence, Business Latin America, Business Middle East, and Country Monitor.

Country Commerce is a practical reference guide to the specific operating conditions, commercial laws, and business regulations in 55 countries. It offers unbiased guidance on critical issues such as obtaining proper permits and registrations, protecting your intellectual property, and complying with local tax laws.

Country Finance is a comprehensive guide to changes in financial services, operating conditions, tax laws, and investment opportunities in the world's 45 principal financial markets. Topics covered in each report include investment options; bank and non-bank credit; equity and debt financing; and markets for stocks, bonds, currencies and derivatives.

Users can access EIU.com from the front page of the Libraries website, either through IRIS or by following the path Find Articles > Indexes and Databases > EIU.com.
