New! Bibliographie der deutschen Sprach- und Literaturwissenschaft
The Libraries' newest resource speaks the language that serious students and scholars in German studies want to hear.
Bibliographie der Deutschen Sprach- und Literaturwissenschaft is the most comprehensive bibliography and index of publications on German language and literary studies. Currently there are over 280,000 citations to monographs and to articles and reviews in journals, collected studies, and newspapers. The database allows searching by author, treated author, treated work, title, publisher, and keyword, with limiting by date, publication type, and up to 18 thematic and chronological categories. Results can be saved by exporting files or by printing.
The Printed Bibliographie der Deutschen Sprach- und Literaturwissenschaft is an annual publication compiled since 1957 from the acquisitions of Germany's best collection in the field, at the City and University Library in Frankfurt am Main. This bibliography is commonly known to Germanists, from the names of its first compilers, as Eppelsheimer-Köttelwesch.
Users can access Bibliographie der Deutschen Sprach- und Literaturwissenschaft from the frontpage of the Libraries' website, either through IRIS or by following the path: Find Articles > Indexes and Databases > Arts and Humanities > Language and Linguistics > Bibliographie der Deutschen Sprach- und Literaturwissenschaft.
