New database! Accounting Research Manager

The Libraries newest online resource can make research into all aspects of accounting far less taxing.

Accounting Research Manager is a single, searchable comprehensive database of accounting and auditing information. The Standards section provides access to the full text of all current authoritative accounting standards, auditing standards, and Securities and Exchange Commission regulations, such as Sarbanes-Oxley. In the Interpretations and Examples section, users can find interpretations of standards, checklists and samples for particular common problems, and guides to accounting and auditing, all written by the database publisher's (CCH) editorial team of over 600 expert lawyers and accountants.

The following standard setting groups provide primary source material for Accounting Research Manager:

  • FASB (Financial Accounting Standards Board)
  • AICPA (American Institute of Chartered Public Accountants)
  • EITF (Emerging Issues Task Force)
  • IASB (International Accounting Standards Board)
  • SEC (Securities and Exchange Commission), and more.

Users can access Accounting Research Manager from the front page of the Libraries website, either through IRIS or by following the path Research Resources > Indexes and Databases > By Subject > Business > Accounting Research Manager.
