Artist Karen Guancione creates interdisciplinary works that integrate media constructions,
handmade books, sculptures using household objects, printmaking, dance elements, music,
ritual, and video. Karen has served as a curator of several shows of the annual New Jersey
Books Arts Symposium and Exhibition. She will create a site-specific installation for the
Dana Gallery that incorporates sculpture, printmaking, and handmade books.
This event is part of the national Year of the Woman Artist project.
The exhibition will run April 20 - September 4, 2006.
