The Libraries new online resource is the perfect prescription for better research in pharmaceutical studies.

For more than fifty years, Drug Facts and Comparisons has been providing unbiased, essential and appropriate drug information. Drug Facts and Comparisons ® 4.0 Online, covering more than 22,000 Rx, almost 6,000 OTC, and orphan and investigational drugs, is a browser-based electronic version of the following print publications:

• Drug Interaction Facts
• Review of Natural Products
• Nonprescription Drug Therapy
• MedFacts
• Drug Interaction Facts: Herbal Supplements and Food
• A to Z Drug Facts

Features and benefits include the ability to conduct simple or advanced searches across publications, read drug news daily updates, browse comparative tables, utilize a comprehensive drug identification tool, use the interaction database to provide drug management assistance, find herbal information and search by NDC number. Users can print sections of drug monographs or tables of drug information.

Facts and Comparisons first appeared in loose-leaf format in 1947. Facts and Comparisons was a family-owned company until 1981 when it joined the Harper & Row and J.B. Lippincott family. It is now part of Wolters Kluwer nv.
