The Libraries' document delivery service provided through the Ingenta database will be canceled on July 1, 2006. Users may continue to order articles from Ingenta directly and charge them to a personal credit card. However, Rutgers journal holdings will not display in the Ingenta database and the Libraries' account will not be active.
The Libraries are making this change after a careful analysis of use and cost, and in light of our budget outlook for FY2007. Interlibrary Loan Services is an alternative for quick delivery of articles not available at Rutgers: https://www.rulill.rutgers.edu/illiad/RULILL/logon.html . Most ILL article requests are filled within 48 hours and delivered to users' desktops.
For questions about this change, please contact Judy Gardner, Head of University Libraries Access & Interlibrary Services, at jgardner@rci.rutgers.edu
