New icons, same great service: Now, get the full article with Article Linker
Since May 2004 the Libraries have offered a helpful online service called LinkSource that makes Libraries' research much easier and less time-consuming. Linksource allows a user to find a citation in a Libraries' databases then click directly to the full-text of the article, located in another Libraries electronic resource.
The Libraries are in the process of changing to a new provider for the same type of service and implementing the behind the scenes Web links that allows this service to function seamlessly. This change will provide better integration with IRIS, the Libraries online catalog and information system. The service is called Article Linker.
As these changes are implemented over the summer months, the LinkSource icon will be replaced by the Article Linker icon to many of our online indexes and databases. Until the implementation is completed, some databases might still display the LinkSource icon.
The librarians and technical staff overseeing this change are working to minimize any confusion or inconvenience for our users. If you have any comments or questions about this change please contact the Libraries' Ask a Librarian service, accessible from the black horizontal navigation bar at the top of our website.
