Budget cuts impact on Special Collections & Univ. Archives

In response to the severe New Jersey State budget cuts to Rutgers, Special Collections and University Archives will be closing the New Jersey Reading Room to the public on Mondays starting September 4, 2006. The Special Collections and University Archives Gallery and Gallery '50 will remain open during regular business hours on Mondays.

The revised hours of operation for the New Jersey Reading Room are:
     Tuesday through Friday 9 am - 5 pm
     Saturday 1 pm - 5 pm

We regret any inconvenience this presents to our users. We hope that our financial picture brightens shortly, so we may restore the curtailed hours.
