New feature on Libraries website collects & organizes citations for you
Faculty, students, and staff engaged in academic research now have a new service on the Libraries website that'll make their work easier and save oodles of time.
RefWorks is a Web-based bibliographic management tool that allows users to import citations from many databases on the Libraries website directly into their papers. IRIS records can also be directly exported into RefWorks. Users of RefWorks can prepare bibliographies in different professional styles, such as APA, Chicago, and MLA, and in different formats, such as MicroSoft Word, Rich Text Format (RTF), and HTML.
To use this service, Rutgers affiliated faculty, students, and staff should first set up an account in RefWorks. Users will need their Rutgers NetID and password to establish the account. RefWorks offers a quick tutorial, in both Flash video and PDF formats, to orient new users to the service.
For more information on how to use RefWorks, and the many capabilities of the service, please see the Libraries RefWorks FAQ webpage at: http://www.libraries.rutgers.edu/refworks
