4th Annual "Celebration of Faculty Authors" Exhibition & Reception
On Tuesday March 20th, starting at 5:00 pm, the Libraries will hold the fourth annual
exhibition and opening reception to honor faculty who have published books during the calendar
year 2006. This year's exhibition will be held in the lobby of Alexander Library and the
opening reception will be held in the Remigio U. Pane Room on the 1st floor of the library.
University Executive Vice President for Academic Affairs Philip Furmanski and University
Librarian Marianne Gaunt invite all Rutgers community members to attend the opening reception.
Faculty authors are invited to each contribute a copy of their book(s) published in
2006 for use in the exhibition. Copies will subsequently be added to the library
collections. Books should be mailed by March 7th to:
Harry Glazer, Communications Coordinator
University Libraries Administration
c/o Alexander Library
169 College Ave.
New Brunswick, NJ
College Ave. Campus
If a faculty member has already donated a copy of their 2006 book to the Libraries, please
contact Harry and he will arrange for their contribution to be recognized at this event.
As part of the Celebration, the Libraries plan to publish an exhibition catalog that describes
all the donated publications. To insure that all contributors to this year's
Celebration are represented appropriately in the catalog, participating authors should include a
one-paragraph book summary with their donated volumes. These statements can be emailed to
hglazer@rci.rutgers.edu.
To RSVP for the exhibition opening reception, please send an email to
events@rci.rutgers.edu.
For any questions about this exhibition, please call 732/932-7505, ext. 303 or email
