Libraries staffperson is RU student supervisor of the year

Congratulations to Rose Barbalace, student supervisor in Alexander Library, who won the Rutgers University 'Student Supervisor of the Year' award for the 2006/2007 academic year.

The award is presented to one employee across the entire New Brunswick/Piscataway campuses, to reward excellence in supervision of student employees at the university. Rose received the award at a ceremony on Thursday April 12th in the Rutgers Student Center. She was accompanied at the ceremony by two students employees at Alexander Library, Krishna Purohit and Birdie Cheung.

Rose's award was inscribed: "In Recognition of Her Professionalism and Commitment as a Supervisor of Student Employees at Rutgers University."

We are tremendously proud of Rose, for setting the standard for student supervision in the Libraries and at Rutgers.
