Welcome back students!
The Rutgers University Libraries are pleased to see students returning to our campuses in Camden, Newark, New Brunswick, and Piscataway. It's been too quiet without you around!
While you were away, we've been working to make your time on campus more successful and enjoyable. Our summer projects included:
- Rolling out a new interlibrary loan and article delivery service,
that'll get articles you're seeking to you faster and far more
For more info, see Debuting in August - new interlibrary loan system & free Rutgers-owned article delivery pilot program
- Creating and refine cutting edge software that allows us to make broad
collections of materials about New Jersey history and national film
collections available online.
For more info, see Libraries create software system that's adopted by the Library of Congress
- Planning a series of stellar extra-curricular programs that include our
annual New Jersey book arts symposium, a public lecture and accompanying
exhibition by a noted South African woman artist, a jazz trombone concert,
an exhibition and series of talks about the history of agriculture in the
Garden State, and much more.
For more info, see Public Events Calendar 2007 - 2008
Don't wait for the due date on your first assignment to reacquaint yourself with the Libraries. Drop in now, say hello, and ask a librarian or an access services staff person to share a few of the many ways that the RU Libraries can surprise you with our suite of services and our roster of resources. You'll be glad you did!
