E-ZBorrow (interlibrary loan) unavailable Tues Dec. 16th and Wed. Dec. 17th
E-ZBorrow, one of Rutgers University Libraries' major interlibrary loan partners, will be down for required system maintenance on Tuesday, December 16, and Wednesday, December 17, 2008. The PALCI website (http://www.palci.org), which supports E-ZBorrow, will also be unavailable during this time.
The University of Pittsburgh (where the E-ZBorrow and PALCI website servers are housed) is consolidating campus data center operations. Approximately 75 production servers now housed in the University Library System's Data Center will be physically relocated to the University's Network Operations Center several miles away. The move will take place on Tuesday and Wednesday, December 16 and 17, 2008. During these two days, the E-ZBorrow system and the PALCI website will be down as Pitt staff disconnect the servers from the network, transport them to the new location, reconnect them, and start up and test each system.
The Rutgers University Libraries hope to see the E-ZBorrow service resume on Thursday December 18th.
Thanks for your support and patience during this transition.
