Change we can believe in! Alexander Library and Library of Science & Medicine now feature bills-to-coins machines

Library users in two of the main Rutgers library buildings in New Brunswick/Piscataway, who seek change for parking meters or nearby vending machines, are now in luck.

Responding to frequent requests made at library circulation desks, the Rutgers University Libraries acquired two bills-to-coins change machines and placed them in easily accessible locations in the Alexander Library and the Library of Science & Medicine. The change machine in Alexander Library is situated on a table on the right, in the front of the Government Documents section, on the first floor of the library. The change machine in the Library of Science and Medicine is situated on the top of the book shelf, to the immediate right of the circulation desk, on the first floor of the library.

The acquisition of the two change machines was suggested by the Libraries Marketing/PR team and supported by the Office of the Vice President for Information Services and University Librarian. The change machines are maintained by the Libraries' Imaging Services department.
