New online resource: Latin American Newspapers

The Libraries' newest online resource will help researchers studying Latin America understand how major developments, as well as regular life, unfolded on a day to day basis.

The Latin American Newspaper collection contains scanned images of historical newspapers from North, Central and South America, and the Caribbean from the 19th and early 20th centuries. The entire database may be searched at once, or can be browsed by country, time period, language or newspaper title.

Libraries users can access Latin American Newspapers from the front page of the Libraries website, by following the path: Research Resources > Indexes and Databases > Arts and Humanities > Latin America, Caribbean, Spanish & Portuguese Studies > Supplementary > Latin American Newspapers
