The Rutgers University Libraries and the Rutgers-New Brunswick Office of Disability Services invite you to a presentation by the Rutgers Seeing Eye Puppy Raising Club on training service dogs for the blind. The presentation will take place Wednesday November 17^th, starting at 3:00 pm, in the Mabel Smith Douglass Room of the Douglass Library.

At the event a few of the puppy's raisers - who teach the dogs obedience and house manners, as well as expose the puppy to situations they may encounter during their working life - will discuss the challenges and rewards of their service. Some of the seeing eye dogs in training will also be present and will demonstrate their skills.
