On Sunday, August 12, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., some online library and building-based services will be unavailable due to necessary university infrastructure maintenance. Some services may also experience intermittent connections from Friday Saturday night starting at 6:15 p.m. through early Monday morning.

Library online services that will remain available include:

• most parts of the website
• regular Library Catalog searches
• access to databases, journals and other licensed resources available from the Libraries website and catalog

Library services that will be unavailable include:

• MyAccount services such as Book Delivery/Recall, renewing books etc. (Friday night Saturday night and Sunday)
• Illiad (interlibrary loan from RU libraries) (Sunday only)
• E-Zborrow (interlibrary loan from regional libraries) (Friday night, Saturday and Sunday only)
• Some website services (Sunday only)
  • Ask a Librarian email form
  • checking for public computers available in the Libraries
  • Staff directory
  • BookRoom/event calendar
  • Searchpath
• RUcore services (Sunday only)
  • RUcore Search
  • Faculty Deposits
  • RUetd Submission/Search
• Various digital projects (Sunday only)
  • Videomosaic.org
  • New Jersey Environmental Library
  • New Jersey Digital Highway website
  • Journey to Planet Earth
• Music reserves (Sunday only)

Services unavailable at library buildings:

• Access services personnel will be unable to create new accounts or update existing ones (Saturday & Sunday only)
• Alexander and LSM (Sunday only)
  • Digital scanners and microforms machines will not be able to send email
  • PC Reservation guest users will need to request a temporary login

Services will be restored as soon as possible late Sunday night or early Monday morning.

While we regret this downtime, and understand this is is inconvenient and undesirable, it will improve the technology infrastructure at the university.
