Libraries welcome new librarian to Paul Robeson Library
The Rutgers University Libraries are pleased to welcome Zara Wilkinson, the new reference and instruction
librarian at the Paul Robeson Library on the Rutgers-Camden Campus.
As a reference and instruction librarian, Zara will serve as liaison to the departments of English Literature, Art
and Art History, and Philosophy and Religion at Rutgers-Camden. She will also provide general reference services
at the Paul Robeson Library and participate in information literacy instruction for first-year students.
Zara is a native of Philadelphia, PA, and has been employed part-time at multiple academic libraries in the
Philadelphia area for the last two years. She worked in the reference departments of Temple University and
Rutgers-Camden, where she provided research help to students, faculty, staff, and members of the community. She
was also employed as the weekend circulation supervisor at Swarthmore College, where her duties included
supervising a large number of student employees and managing the library on evenings and weekends.
Zara earned her MLIS from the University of Pittsburgh in 2010. She also holds an MA in English Literature from
West Chester University and a BA in English Literature with a certificate in Medieval and Renaissance Studies from
the University of Pittsburgh.
