Submissions invited for 3rd Annual Margery Somers Foster Center's Undergraduate Multimedia Awards
The Margery Somers Foster Center, of the Rutgers University Libraries, invites submissions to the Third Margery Somers Foster Center's Undergraduate Multimedia Awards. The awards acknowledge the creative use of university library collections and resources in the production of a multimedia-based project focused on women's or gender issues. All Rutgers University undergraduates of any discipline are eligible to apply.
Four award semifinalists will be selected to present their projects at the Celebrating Creativity event at the Mabel Smith Douglass Library. The recipients of the Undergraduate Multimedia Awards will each be presented with an award of $300 at the Celebrating Creativity event on Wednesday, April 24, 2013 at the Mabel Smith Douglass Library from 3-6 PM.
Organized in conjunction with Undergraduate Research Month, this is a unique opportunity for undergraduate scholars to showcase their multimedia projects with faculty, students, university administrators, librarians, and member of the public.
To apply for the award, students should complete the application form with submission guidelines [PDF]. Complete application packets must be received by 5:00PM on Wednesday, March 27, 2013.
