Libraries increase hours for finals

In response to user feedback the Libraries have once again increased the hours of operation of the New Brunswick/Piscataway libraries.

For spring semester finals, Alexander Library on the College Ave. Campus and the Library of Science and Medicine (LSM) on the Busch campus will be open 24 hours starting on Monday May 6th, the last day of classes. Both Libraries will be open for 24 hours during weekdays, and till midnight on Friday and Saturday, until Wednesday May 15th, the last day of exams.

In the fall the Alexander Library and the School of Engineering Resource Center reading room (SERC) were open for 24 hours during exams. This semester we increased hours at LSM, reduced hours at SERC, and started the '24 hours open' period a day earlier in Alexander Library and LSM.

Earlier this semester the Libraries announced extended hours in the Graduate Reading Room in Alexander Library, also in response to user feedback. For more information on that change, please see a previous news story: New @ Alexander Library - Extended Hours in the Graduate Reading Room
