Beilstein Chemistry Databases Down Night of 1/3/00

The University of Wisconsin, which provides the Beilstein CrossFire databases, will take down their server for 10:00 PM CST (11:00 PM our time) on Monday January 3, 2000 until approximately 1:00 AM CST (2:00 AM our time) the next morning - Tuesday January 4th. This will be done so that the university can perform necessary campus network upgrades. Access will not be available to the Beilstein CrossFire databases at that time.

We hope this small down time does not inconvenience our users.
