NEW Social Science Electronic Data Library

Faculty and students in sociology will be satisfied to see that the Rutgers University Libraries have secured a stellar new resource – The Social Science Electronic Data Library

The Social Science Electronic Data Library (EDL) consists of six topically focused, high quality data collections in the following areas: Aids/STDs, disability, the American family, adolescent pregnancy, aging, and maternal drug abuse. With over 300 data sets from 200 different studies, comprising six topically-focused collections, it is a unique source of high quality health and social science data and documentation for researchers, educators, students, and policy analysts. Once in the database, click on the "key" to download data.

Users may access EDL through IRIS, or on the Indexes webpage, by selecting ‘General’ then ‘Statistics/Data’.
