Union in a Hurry: The 50th Anniversary of the International Union of Electrical Workers (IUE)

Go Ahead, Take A Shot!

December 13, 1999 - March 15, 2000

'Union in a Hurry: The 50th Anniversary of the International Union of Electrical Workers (IUE),' documents the IUE's legacy of progressive democratic unionism and proud tradition of social and political activism. The exhibit highlights the union's contribution to the struggle for social justice and civil rights; fair employment and equal opportunity programs, education, fair housing; gender equity in the workplace; and trade reform legislation in the interests of workers.

This exhibit is open for viewing in Gallery 50 on the ground floor & Special Collections & University Archives Gallery, on the lower level of Alexander Library.
