Noted printmakers, artists, and collaborative authors John Ross and
Clare Romano will present the Sixteenth Annual Louis Faugères III Bishop
Lecture on Wednesday November 8th at Alexander Library. Their talk will
begin at 6:00 pm and the topic will be "The Artists and The Book: John
Ross and Clare Romano Discuss Their Work."

Clare Romano & John Ross' book, The Complete Printmaker (first published
in 1972), has become known as the definitive textbook for
university-level courses in printmaking in various forms. Their work has
been widely exhibited and is included in many museum and library
collections. They have also taught in many schools across the US and
Europe.
The lecture will take place in the Pane Room of Alexander Library,
located on the first floor, and a reception will follow the lecture.
After the lecture, participants can view an exhibit of John Ross and
Clare Romano's work in the first floor and lower level lobbys of
Alexander Library. This exhibit will run until March 16, 2001.
