Say Cheese!: Libraries Now Feature Accunet/AP Photo Archive

The Rutgers University Libraries' new acquisition, Accunet/AP Photo Archive, is a database containing over 700,000 photos from the Associated Press newswire service. It is international in scope and dates back over 150 years. Each photograph has a textual description and is searchable with Boolean operators.

The AP Photo Archive consists of photos and images from the Associated Press newswire service. Some of the photographs were taken by photographers from individual newspapers rather than the Associated Press. Their names and the newspaper sources are indicated in the captions.

Users can access AccuNet/AP from the frontpage of the Libraries website, either through IRIS or from the Indexes & Databases pages under one of these paths:
