NEW WorldCat Catalog: Search Records of Libraries in 45 Countries

The Libraries have acquired a resource that connects users to millions of libraries records across the world - WorldCat.

WorldCat offers over 48 million bibliographic records from libraries in 45 countries. Records represent 400 languages and holdings information vital for collection development, cataloging, authority control, and retrospective conversion services. Many New Jersey libraries, including the Rutgers University Libraries, contribute records to WorldCat.

Users may access WorldCat from the front page of the Libraries website, by following the path Other Library Catalogs/ Catalogs Outside Rutgers University/National & Multi-Library Catalogs/WorldCat.

Materials listed in WorldCat may be requested through the Rutgers University Libraries interlibrary loan program. Interlibrary loan requests may be placed online at the Rutgers University Libraries website, at this address:
