NEW! Xipolis German Reference Database

The Libraries newest resource will be a super tool for students, scholars, and researchers in German studies.

The Xipolis German Reference Database provides searchable full text of 17 German-language reference works, including a 26-volume encyclopedia, a literary encyclopedia, dictionaries of music, theater, and film, a 10-volume dictionary of the German language, Fischer´s world almanac, and nine science dictionaries. Users can search for selected German keywords in the headings or text of all or selected reference works.

The database includes materials from the following sources:

• Duden in zehn Bänden
• Film-Dienst-Lexikon
• Fischer Weltalmanach
• Großes Fremdwörterbuch
• Kindlers Neues Literaturlexikon
• Lexikon der Arneipflanzen und Drogen

• Lexikon der Chemie
• Lexikon der Musik
• Lexikon der Neurowissenschaft
