Get Stepping with New Theater and Dance Research Guide

Some new Libraries resources make you want to get up and sing, dance, or recite a sonnet.

The new online Theater and Dance Research Guide introduces basic print and electronic resources in theater and dance available at Rutgers and on the Web. Topics covered include dance performance and history, choreography, theater history and dramatic literature, and theater performance including directing, acting, playwriting, design and management. The guide includes a selection of theater- and dance-related encyclopedias and dictionaries, biographical sources, bibliographies, periodicals and Web sites, and provides guidance in searching for books, journal articles and reviews, videos, sound recordings and visual resources.

Users can access the Theater and Dance Research Guide from the front page of the Libraries website by following the path Subject Research Guides / Arts and Humanities / Theater and Dance.

The Theater and Dance Research Guide was developed by William Hemmig of the Mabel Smith Douglass Library.
