New Libraries' Resource: Roper Center iPoll
The Rutgers University Libraries' newest resource, Roper Center iPoll, raises a lot of questions.
The iPoll database is a compilation of over 500,000 questions from national public opinion polls in the United States on a broad range of topics. Questions can be searched by keyword, topic, date, or source.
The iPoll database covers polls from 1935 to the present. The database includes polls from many sources: major news organizations (CBS, ABC, Associated Press, etc.), public opinion research centers (Gallup, Harris, Pew, etc.), and major academic and commercial pollsters.
Users can access iPoll from the frontpage of the Libraries webpage, either through Library Catalog or by following the path Indexes and Databases / General and Multidisciplinary / Statistics and Data.
