Climate

Rutgers University Climate Laboratory
Contains links to the Office of the New Jersey State Climatologist which collects and archives New Jersey climate data, New Jersey Weather and Climate Network (NJ Wxnet) which is a unique collection of hourly environmental data from weather stations in and around New Jersey, and Global Snow Lab which provides various unique sources of data regarding Northern Hemisphere snow cover dating back to 1966.

National Climatic Data Center
World's largest archive of climate data.

Locate Weather Observation Station Record
Find a specific weather observation station. Includes data inventory for select stations.

National Center for Atmospheric Research
NCAR is a National Science Foundation federally funded research and development center. Together with its partners at universities and research centers, it is dedicated to exploring and understanding the atmosphere and its interactions with the Sun, the oceans, the biosphere, and human society.

Northeast Regional Climate Center
Up-to-date climate data and information, climate monitoring and assessment, and many specialty pages are available, some for purchase only.

U.S. Global Change Research Program
Supports research on the interactions of natural and human-induced changes in the global environment and their implications for society. Documents and characterizes important aspects of the sources, abundances and lifetimes of greenhouse gases.

Meteorology Guide (University of Illinois-Chicago)
A collection of Web-based instructional modules on topics related to meteorology that use multimedia technology and the dynamic capabilities of the Web.

World Meteorological Organization
This specialized agency of the United Nations promotes international standardization and the exchange of data for meteorological, climatological, hydrological, and geophysical observations worldwide.

Rutgers Weather Center
Provides current weather information at Rutgers University through the Meteorology Program.

Rutgers Weather Watcher
WeatherWatcher is a partnership between Rutgers Meteorology and RU-tv to provide daily weather forecasts and up-to-the-minute weather information for the New Brunswick/Piscataway Campus.

Interactive Weather Information Network - New Jersey Data
New Jersey section of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration's National Weather Service, provides current and forecast information, along with warnings and advisories.

National Weather Service
Official U.S. weather forecasts and warnings; climatic statistics and historical data; and general information on weather-related subjects.

UM Weather (University of Michigan)
Forecasts for U.S. and Canada; radar and satellite images; weather maps; links to weather information on the Web; and the Internet's only weather software archive.

Weather Channel
Weather maps and forecasts for U.S. cities and worldwide; plus weather headlines; ski reports; tropical storm watches; holiday and travel guides; and other features.

Weather Underground
Global climatological data
